AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

+ Client Experience Coordinator

We are seeking a friendly, motivated, detail-oriented individual to assist in managing our office and our clinical staff. Client Experience Coordinators understand that they are entrusted with the duty of maintaining overall functions of the organization and often work in tandem to support leadership.

ESSENTIAL TASKS

  • Excellent use of EHR system (Therapy Notes) to maintain client information
  • Comfortable with technology, email, and use of spreadsheets
  • Regular use of Google Business Suite (Google Drive, Google Docs, etc.)
  • Appropriately assist individual staff members and ability to prioritize workloads
  • Schedule client appointments
  • Greet clients upon arrival and assist with client needs as needed
  • Coordinate with external resources for insurance verification
  • Collection of client payments
  • Confidential and HIPAA-compliant client correspondence
  • Effective communication regarding policies and services
  • Ensure that tasks are completed in an effective and timely manner
  • Fulfill customer and clinician requests and questions
  • Coordinate meetings, compile meeting materials and documents
  • Provide executive staff with support as needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in working with marginalized groups (Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQ+, and the Trans Community)
  • Must be committed to maintaining a space where Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), queer, trans, gender non-conforming, and other marginalized employees and clients can truly feel safe.
  • Must possess a willingness to develop, learn, and grow
  • Must have great interpersonal skills and is comfortable talking with people over the phone
  • Experience and patience with working with multiple personality types
  • Knowledge, understanding, and execution of HIPAA laws and guidelines
  • Must possess a team player attitude
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Confidence to work independently coupled with openness to constructive feedback
  • The ability to think on your feet and problem-solve without explicit guidance
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, the use of Electronic Health Records, PDF software, etc.

EDUCATION & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a mental health field or practice
  • Medical billing/coding experience
  • Previous experience working with private insurance payers
  • General knowledge of insurance terminology and processes

SALARY & BENEFITS This is a part-time position. Salary is graduated based on performance. Starting salary is $16/hour for the initial 60-day trial period. After 60 days, salary immediately raises to $17/hour. With good performance, salary raises to $18/hour after 180 days and to $20/hour after one year.

Benefits are available after 60 days.
