Facilitated by Tori Emerick, this group is intended to help young adults (18-25) who are struggling from a lack of social outlets during the pandemic. This group provides an avenue of socialization in a supportive environment to process everyday difficulties related to the stress of COVID. Through connecting with peers, clients will explore how to actively engage in their mental wellbeing and find hope and safety.
Goals for the group include:
decrease in self reported levels of depression
decrease feelings of hopelessness
increase each client’s level of engagement in their mental health (implementing coping skills, using therapy more effectively, communicating needs)
Starting on February 2nd, Tuesdays 5pm - 6:30pm
$35/session
This group will be in-person, so registration is limited. Masks are required and social distancing will be enforced during the duration of the group.
